1/ How have you been and what do you think about the HK market recently?

The Hong Kong market never recovered after the Covid Outbreak because the sociology of the city has changed. The expatriate population has decreased, and consumption habits are different now. During the Covid, people developed the habit to order home delivery, and when they decide to go out, many Hong Kong residents now go to party in Shenzhen where prices are lower.  As office rentals stay high, the F&B sector is struggling. Companies must adapt to market changes, which is why Natural has become Galilea Club.

2/ What is Galilea club and what is the concept?

The idea behind Galilea Club is to offer the best price possible to the club members. So, we reduced the costs (no more showroom. less staff, steaming freight costs), to develop a pure “online” business and offer to our members the same price than to the professional sector. The only requirement is to purchase, in total, a minimum of 10,000HK$ worth of wines and spirits in the year following the free club membership. Otherwise, the membership will not be renewed the following year. So, it’s a risk-free membership that provides access to the best quality/price ratio in the market.

3/ Which products could be interesting for CFI members?

The range is the same than the natural one and is gradually being enriched. Thanks to partnerships we have established, we also have access to a wide range of fine wines (Grand crus from Bordeaux and Burgundy, as well as rare wines from other wine countries in the world).
