Hong Kong: Piano Recital by Etienne Chenevier

Join us for ‘a feast for your ears’ as Etienne Chenevier graces the stage with his interpretation of Chopin and Schubert’s masterpieces. This special concert, organized by PSE and Mayaa HK, is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in Asia.
The evening promises not only a showcase of classical piano music but also an opportunity to contribute to a cause that changes lives

The concert will open with the powerful and emotive works of two giants of classical music:
Franz Schubert’s Sonata No. 19 in C minor, D 958
Dive into the depth and beauty of Schubert’s penultimate sonata, a masterpiece of profound emotion and complex beauty.
Intermission (15 mns)
Frédéric Chopin’s Sonata No. 3 in B minor, op. 58
Experience the elegance and passion of Chopin’s Third Sonata, a piece that encapsulates the essence of romantic piano music.
These pieces, performed on a Steinway piano, promise an evening of sublime music that will linger in your memory.

Though not a professional musician, Etienne Chenevier stands out as a highly skilled and passionate pianist. His journey in music, parallel to a successful career in engineering and development in Asia, is marked by a deep love for piano and classical music.
Over the years, Chenevier has shared his talent in various countries, performing in recitals and chamber music concerts, notably at the Phnom Penh International Music Festival.
His repertoire, ranging from Bach to contemporary composers, reveals his versatile and sophisticated musical taste.
